Mission Statement

The Mission of the RCS Friends of the Arts is to support, promote and enhance the Music and Art Programs within the RCS Public School District. We are families, friends and community members that through a collaborative effort within the RCS school district, wish to offer our time to organize and fund raise for the benefit of the Music & Arts Programs. Our goal is to create opportunities for students in these programs which would otherwise be unavailable, to encourage the pursuit of their musical interests and to foster a lifelong love of music and art.

Who and What is RCS Friends of the Arts?

What We Do:  

Help organize volunteer efforts for Arts program events and fund raise for our general fund.  The general fund will be used for scholarships, field trips, guest speakers, etc. in areas of the Arts.  We wish to supplement the Art programs at RCS that would be considered above and beyond school budget.

Who Are We?

The idea was to create a group to support the students in the RCS CSD Arts programs (Music, Drama and Art) in a similar way that the RCS Sports Association supports the RCS Athletics programs.  We will function similar to a PTA.
